It is very important that pitbull owners and really all dog owners do as much as they can to prevent BSL, for restrications and bans against the bully breeds set a dangerous standard which allows the government to determine what breeds are deemed suitable pets. The fact is that dog fighting and training is illegal; the people that are commiting these crimes are not the ones that will be affected by breed specific legeslation, but us the responsible owners and breeders that will be deprived of our beloved pets and family memebers.
